ARROYO GRANDE, Calif. -- One million dollars worth of
gold, diamonds and rubies, which make up the world’s first
and only million-dollar fishing lure, actually will be fished
at the 26th Annual Bisbee’s Black and Blue Marlin Tournament
in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, October 24-28, 2006, Mac McBurney,
co-founder of MacDaddy’s Fishing Lures, Inc.™, announced
today. MacDaddy’s, headquartered in Arroyo Grande, is
the premiere manufacturer of fishing lures made from solid gold
and precious stones.
The
Million-Dollar Lure™ was designed by Mr. McBurney and built
to his specifications by Uneek® Fine Jewelry Collections. Over
12 inches in length, the Million-Dollar Lure™ is made of more
than 3 pounds of 14 and 18-Karat gold and platinum, and encrusted
with 100 carats of diamonds and rubies (4,753 stones in all).
MacDaddy's
presence at the Bisbee's tournament is being sponsored by the
